BENEFITS OF CHIROPRACTIC CARE:
I had been in several minor car accidents that resulted in lower and upper back pain. I was aslo getting sinus infections quite frequently which affected my ability to sleep at night. I wasn't able to exercise as much as I wold have liked to. I went to my family doctor, but the drugs that were prescribed only treated my symptoms.
I began a regimen of regular Chiropractic treatments, and now find that I don't get the siinus infections as often, and my back definitely feels better!

I came into Dr. Steve's office with sever lower back pain. I had difficulty doing routine things such as getting dressed, bending over, doing household chores, etc. My mood wasn't very good, and some depression began to set in. I even experienced a touch of nausea at times. The severe back pain made it very difficult to sit down, lie down, stand, sleep or walk! I tried heat and ice; neither of them helped for more than short periods of time.
I thought it might be a muscle strain, so I went to my family physician for evaluation. I was prescribed naproxen (an anti-inflammatory used to reduce swelling and to treat pain) and a muscle relaxant. Neither of these remedies relieved my symptoms.
I made an appointment with Dr. Steve, and with the first treatment, my mood improved immediately. I once again had freedom of movement, which allowed my return to the fitness program I had been enjoying before my back issues. Also, being able to travel again has been wonderful!
Dr. Steve and Chiropractic will be my FIRST call if I should ever experience such a pain again!

HAVE YOU TRIED THE COLD LIGHT LASER?
I was being seen by a local ENT specialist in Muskegon as I had been experiencing hearing loss in my right ear over the last seven months. After many tests, the diagnosis was not very encouraging for improvement; in fact, I was considering the possibility of needing a hearing appliance for that ear. Personally, not being ready for that step, I wanted to explore other options. I receive monthly e-mail newsletters from Fruitport Chiropractic Center/Pathways to Health, and the November mailing offered a "free hearing screening" at your office, so I decided I would get a second opinion. After a hearing test, you recommended that I have a series of cold laser treatments, something that was unfamiliar to me, and to my ENT doctor. Since it was noninvasive, I consented to the treatments.
The treatments were done in conjunction with Dr. Steve's office, and I was very pleased and encouraged to see improvement after the first series of treatments. With an additional series of treatments, I can honestly say that I no longer have the "fullness" that hindered by hearing, and I am even using my right ear when I talk on the telephone (as I had been limited to only using the telephone with my left ear). Since my appointment with you, I have come across other people with similar hearing issues, and I don't hesitate to give them your name.
Although my ENT doctor downplayed my results after your treatments, calling them "unremarkable", I could only show him the results of my hearing tests before and after the treatments which speak for itself, not to mention the fact that I COULD HEAR AGAIN! Thank you again.

During the winter, I began having symptoms such as a headache, sore throat, achy body, etc. Dr. Steve was out of town, so I ended up at a med center where I was given antibiotics to take. One and a half weeks later, I was better. Then in May, I had the same sickness over a weekend. I came in to see Dr. Steve on a Monday, and by Wednesday I felt almost 100%. I will try my best to pare my story down, but time is limited! For as long as I can remember, even in early childhood, I have suffered symptoms of allergies such as ear and respiratory infections and severe headaches. Finally, after two sinus surgeries, I was diagnosed with airborne allergies. I was allergic to our dog, which had slept under our bed and had to move outdoors, cats, dust, molds, you name it! My symptoms continued to worsen, and treatments were not successful. I tried allergy shots for over two years, but due to reactions to the shots, the serum had to be diluted to the weakest strength, and the shots made no difference. My migraine headaches were discovered to be triggered by allergies. I cannot even begin to estimate the cost of the tests, treatments, and medications.
I took prescription medications every day of my life and avoided homes that included pets and smokers (which leaves very few!) and never had windows open as long as any pollen was present.
Last winter I found out about Dr. Szatkowski's A/SERTtreatments and decided I had nothing to lose by trying them. As a result, my life has changed dramatically! I am now able to visit my Aunt Sally, who has pets in her ranch home in Montana, and my sister -- cat and all! I can pet dogs and cats without fear of ending up in the hospital from an uncontrollable migraine! I had screens in our windows and had them open when we wanted to enjoy the breezes. I could ride in our car with the windows open, and enjoy events at friends' homes, despite cats and dogs. (I still don't choose to be exposed to smoke, but it is a choice!)
I can honestly say that the A/SERT treatments have drastically changed my life! How should I title this? How about this: "LOOK! I'm petting a dog!"

Ryan was officially diagnosed with allergy-induced asthma when he was four years old. Each year has gotten worse for him, and this year he was hospitalized because of it. My sister-in-law recommended Dr. Steve after seeing improvements in her daughter's food allergies. Having worked in the medical field for 16 years, I was a little skeptical about the A/SERT. I met with Dr. Steve and agreed to give it a try. Ryan was treated by Adam (Chiropractic Assistant) in six sessions. Adam was also wonderful with Ryan. He explained things and made it fun for Ryan.
I still don't completely understand this technique, but I have definitely seen positive results in Ryan. Camping in the early spring and early fall would require Albuterol treatments for several days. He was also never able to help his cousins on the farm without a severe asthma attack. I am happy to say that camping over Memorial Day and throughout this summer has been wonderfully healthy for him for the first time in four years! He is also now having fun on the farm! This is the first year he was able to participate in 4-H and showed a calf last week at our county fair ... TAKING THIRD PLACE!
We are slowly weaning him from his daily inhaler with help from his family doctor. I would definitely recommend Dr. Steve and A/SERT. IT HAS CHANGED RYAN'S LIFE!
